So over the last few days I marathoned every Young Justice episode currently aired. The first season was awesome! Then… “Invasion” happened.

I wasn’t all fangirling upset about the “ships” or swooning over Nightwing. The main cast was gone and over seven episodes all I got were more questions and more confused. I’m all for some drama and interesting story arcs but this is just too far. Seven episodes in and we’ve barely scratched the surface of wtf is going on.

I felt torn all over again when I watched Justice League (Unlimited.) Two great seasons and then all of a sudden there’s a butt-load of new characters I have to learn about and try and care about. 

The writers did a great job of developing the main cast in both Young Justice and Justice League and then suddenly all those relationships are broken apart. All the quirks and the interactions between the characters are gone and the show is broken up into too many parts and pieces. Sure bring in a new character here and there but don’t throw them all at me!

I’m just very disappointed the turn this show took… Just seems like a giant marketing ploy for the less popular characters. Suck us in with solid stories and characters and then we’re stuck in the next season waiting for those characters to come back together. 

I can’t believe I fell for it again…
